ABOUT THE JOB

Argo is now accepting applications for Summer 2026 internships across multiple engineering disciplines. As an Argo intern, you'll be given significant responsibility and hands-on experience with flight hardware and software that will operate beyond LEO.

We're looking for hardworking and highly motivated engineering students who want to contribute to real spacecraft development during the most critical phase of our company's growth.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Write and test flight software for orbital logistics vehicles
  • Design, build, and test flight hardware components and systems
  • Support propulsion system development and testing
  • Contribute to avionics, navigation, and control (GN&C) systems
  • Participate in integration and test activities for demonstration missions
  • Work directly with experienced engineers on production spacecraft

Experience in any of the following:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's with a focus on software, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Strong academic performance with hands-on project experience
  • Previous internship experience or active participation in collegiate design/build teams (rocket teams, CubeSat projects, Formula SAE, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges
  • Passion for spacecraft and space systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with C/C++, Python, or embedded systems programming
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, NX, etc.)
  • Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems or propulsion systems
  • Background in controls, dynamics, or flight software
